| United P.C., Inc. (United PC) manufactures
its hardware products from parts and components
that are new and unopened. United PC warrants that
the hardware products it manufactures will be free
from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty
term is one year beginning on the date of invoice,
as further described below. Damage due to shipping
the products to you is covered under this warranty.
Otherwise, this warranty does not cover damage
due to external causes, including accident, abuse,
misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing
not authorized by United PC, usage not in accordance
with product instructions, failure to perform
required preventive maintenance, and problems
caused by use of parts and components not supplied
by United PC.
This warranty does not cover any items that are
in one or more of the following categories: software;
accessories or parts added to a United PC system
after the system is shipped from United PC; accessories
or parts that are not installed by a United PC
representative.
United PC will repair or replace products returned
to a United PC store with like or similar products,
after concluding that the products are defective.
To request warranty service, you must call United
PC within the warranty period. Refer to the United
PC website (http://www.united-pc.com) to find
the appropriate telephone number for obtaining
customer assistance. If warranty service is required,
United PC will setup an appointment (if product(s)
fall under onsite coverage) with the customer
for repair. If outside the onsite coverage, customer
agrees to either pay a travel charge ($20.00)
or bring the product(s) to a United PC location
for warranty service. For provisions of our onsite
service contract covering your system, refer to
the separate onsite service information listed
below.
NOTE: United PC is not responsible for the data
on your system. Prior to servicing or repairs,
it is the customer’s responsibility to backup
any and all important data on the system. United
PC is not responsible for lost or damaged data.
United PC owns all parts removed from repaired
products. All parts removed from repaired products
must be returned to United PC, or the customer
agrees to pay the replacement cost of those product(s).
United PC uses new and unopened parts made by
various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs
and building replacement products, unless specified
by manufacturer. If United PC repairs or replaces
a product, its warranty term is not extended.

Limited On-Site Service
United P.C., Inc. (United PC) provides onsite services
as part of its standard warranty package. This coverage
is limited to the Highlands County, Florida area
and is not extendable. Onsite service performed
outside of this area, but within fifty (50) miles
of United PC’s main office, located at 3535
US Highway 27 South, will receive a travel charge
in the amount of $20.00. Onsite service performed
outside of the fifty (50) mile distance will receive
a per mile charge of $.80 (This rate is not fixed
and can change at any time depending on economical
conditions). Onsite services are only provided within
the State of Florida. United PC withholds the
right to judge whether or not service can be performed
onsite, or if the product(s) have to be brought
to a United PC service area.
