I just had a brown-out and now my monitor will not power on.

CAUSE

The A/C adapter with some models of Acer LCD Monitors will become suspended in a "frozen" power mode. You can tell this if the light on your A/C adapter is lit, but your LCD display will not power on.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this, simply unplug the power cable from the A/C adapter and wait for the light on the adapter to go out. Once the light is off, plug the power cable back into the A/C adapter.
