Simplified Service Plans Effective July 2025

At United PC, we are constantly working to streamline and improve the way we deliver technology solutions to your business. As part of this effort, we are implementing a simplified and more scalable service plan structure that ensures consistency, transparency, and better alignment with your IT needs.

What’s Changing?

Effective July 1, 2025, we will be retiring our legacy service plans Silver, Platinum, and Diamond, and transitioning all clients to our newly standardized plans:

Antivirus Only (AV Only)

Our AV Only plan provides foundational protection with fully managed antivirus software. It’s a cost-effective option for clients who only require basic protection without additional IT support services.

Core

The Core plan is a solid choice for residential customers and businesses that need proactive care without full-scale IT management. It delivers essential security and system maintenance services to help your home or business stay updated and protected. In addition to antivirus, this tier includes Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), patch management, remote monitoring and management (RMM), and business-hours remote help desk support.

Standard

The Standard plan builds upon the Core plan with enhanced IT visibility and control. It includes IT documentation, and vendor management. With EDR, advanced firewall management, web content filtering, and drive encryption monitoring, this plan is ideal for growing businesses that require more structure, accountability, and collaboration with their IT partner.

Premium

The Premium plan builds upon the Standard plan by providing comprehensive IT management and strategic support, including onsite and in-shop support, compliance assistance, and Regular Business Reviews (RBRs). Clients benefit from a dedicated account manager, server management, and access to a virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) for long-term IT planning and budgeting.

Elite

Our Elite plan is a fully outsourced IT department for your organization. It includes everything in the Premium plan, plus advanced services such as virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) support, vulnerability scanning, password management, and asset lifecycle tracking.

Why This Matters

To eliminate confusion and maintain the highest service standards, all devices in your environment will need to be enrolled under the same service plan tier. This new policy ensures unified support levels, consistent security coverage, and easier management across your organization.

What Happens Next?

  • Your current plan will remain active until its renewal date.
  • At renewal, your agreement will reflect the new service tier structure and updated pricing.
  • A dedicated account manager will reach out in the coming weeks to help you select the plan tier that best suits your business and budget.

What do I need to do right now?

Nothing yet. Your current plan remains active until renewal. When your renewal approaches, we’ll help you transition to the appropriate new tier.

Can I still mix different plan levels across devices?

No. Effective July 1, 2025, all devices in your environment must be covered by the same service plan level to ensure consistent service, security, and support.

Will this increase my costs?

Some plans may change in price based on included services, but we will work with you to select a plan that matches your needs and budget.

Will my current agreement be honored?

Yes. Your current agreement remains in effect until renewal. After that, services will update to the new structure.

Will I lose any protections or features?

Not at all. Most customers will gain access to enhanced security, automation, and support under the new structure.

Can I upgrade my plan early?

Yes. If you want to transition early to benefit from new features, we’re happy to coordinate that change.

Will I need to sign a new agreement?

Yes. We will provide you with a new agreement that outlines your selected plan, pricing, and included services.
